These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of CLB Pilot (identified in section 1). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
CLB Pilot is an independent online practice tool for the CELPIP General Speaking test, operated by ZHU YANDONG (sole proprietor), reachable at support@clbpilot.online. The service is available at clbpilot.online.
We are not the test. CLB Pilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the owner of the CELPIP test, its licensors, or any test centre. CELPIP is a registered trademark of its respective owner and is used here only to describe what the service helps you practise for. We do not register anyone for an exam, do not take exams on anyone's behalf, and do not supply official test questions or answers.
You record a spoken answer to a practice prompt. The browser analyses your recording locally and produces speech measurements (rate, pauses, pitch range, voiced ratio). You receive an estimated band with a confidence range plus written feedback on content, vocabulary and delivery.
Scores are estimates produced by our own model. They are not official results, are not produced or reviewed by a human examiner, and must not be presented as official CELPIP results to any institution. We do not guarantee any particular score, band, or improvement, and nothing in the service is a promise that you will pass.
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Where we are required to charge GST/HST, the tax is included in the displayed price — the amount you see is the amount charged.
Payments are processed by Creem or Paddle, each acting as the merchant of record. We never see or store your card number. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date. If a renewal payment fails, access may be suspended until it is settled.
You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these rules. Where the breach is serious (for example reselling access or attacking the service), termination may be immediate and without refund.
You keep all rights to your recordings, transcripts and answers. You grant us only the limited licence needed to run the service for you: to store your transcripts, results and speech measurements in your account so you can review your history. We do not use your answers to train models, and we do not publish them.
The software, prompt library, calibration data, written feedback templates and page design are owned by the operator and protected by copyright. You may not copy or redistribute them.
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, upstream provider outages, or abuse mitigation can cause downtime. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue a paid plan you are on, we will refund the unused portion.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost exam fees, lost opportunities, or decisions made on the basis of an estimated score. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province.
If we make a material change, we will post the new version here with a new date and, for changes that affect paid plans, notify you by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
